TalkTalk sells UK broadband on a network registered with RIPE to TalkTalk Communications Limited at Soapworks in Salford, under the organisation object ORG-OTIS1-RIPE. The traffic originates from AS13285, whose registry name is still OPALTELECOM-AS after Opal Telecom, the wholesale carrier the network was assembled around. Do not read the netname dates as allocation dates here: the largest block, 92.16.0.0/12, is netnamed UK-OPALNET-20070628 but the RIPE object holding it was created on 19 December 2025, and the IPv6 allocation 2a0b:db00::/29 is netnamed UK-OPALNET-20161028 on an object created in November 2018.
