What is 192.168.1.1?
192.168.1.1 is the most common default gateway IP address for home routers. It belongs to the 192.168.0.0/16 private address range defined by RFC 1918. This address is not routable on the public internet and is exclusively used for local network communications between devices on your home or office network.
Privacy note
192.168.1.1 is expected to appear in WebRTC local candidate results — it is your local router's IP. It represents no privacy risk. If you want to access your router admin panel, type 192.168.1.1 in your browser's address bar.
